A vacancy has arisen for a book keeper within our company.
You will be responsible for:
Managing the purchase ledger, including payments to suppliers
Managing the sales ledger, including cash received in respect of long-term contracts
Bank account and credit card reconciliations
Payroll, PAYE and pension postings and reconciliations
Holiday cover for processing of weekly and monthly payroll
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Preparation of CIS paperwork & returns & control of other construction industry deductions
Company secretarial duties including preparation of Annual Return & miscellaneous statutory filing
Ad-hoc administration duties associated with a small but busy office
You will have experience of working in a similar financial role. You will be organised & numerate with good interpersonal skills. There is an opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the role and to further develop internal processes and procedures. Experience of Sage 50 Accounts software is desirable.
